Tumbeasts are on the Loose!

Well, if you don’t know about the Oatmeal, you must live under a rock. The Oatmeal is a site dedicated to hilarious comics about real life (and fictional) events such as What it’s like to own an Apple Product, The crap we put up with getting on and off an airplane, How to Pet a Kitty, Why I’d rather be punched in the testicles than call customer service, Winter 2010 The State of the Internet, and MANY more! He even has a book available for preorder called: 5 Very Good Reasons to Punch a Dolphin in the Mouth (And Other Useful Guides).

Well, if you have heard of the Oatmeal, THANK YOU! Anyway, with his Winter 2010 The State of the Internet comic, he mentions in it about the We’ll Be Back Shortly Tumblbeasts (renamed Tumbeasts) he made for them.

Then, with this tweet, he asked Tumblr to make it official for their site:

Dear @

Within an hour, it became official. Now Tumblr has something similar to Twitter’s Fail Whale so when they go down for another 24 hours, people can’t be completely mad. Plus, there is a nice backlink to the Oatmeal to keep you busy.

Due to all of this, the Oatmeal gets a spike in traffic!

PS. I fell into this the Oatmea case study…damnit.

Time to Fill You In

Lately, my blog posts suck ass. I am amazing at life and funny as hell in person, but I am sucking a ton of sphincter when it comes to this whole blogging thing. Anyway, you should continue reading because I will get a handle on this shit. I just need to learn how to transfer my bullshit from in person to this whole blog. Anyway, time to quickly fill you in on my life because I could not really think of anything else to post.  This shall be brief so you don’t commit suicide by smashing your head on your keyboard and dropping the computer on your head.

Let’s see…

I got my computer back from HP. It only cost me a shit ton of money since my warranty expired by a half of year. At least I got a new motherboard, battery port, and screen!

I actually read a book. I actually finished it. I actually read every single word in it.  I shall review it later.

I am not sick with failure.

Besides that, I have my computer back which means I can start working on clients’ sites.

Yours,
